BioI am a college student at Western Illinois University in Macomb. I am studying Law Enforcement, Anthropology, Forensics, and Accounting. I am a very busy bee...but I may be narrowing them down when it comes to my official areas of study.
When I am in school, I work for the local bus company as a receptionist. It is a great job, I just wish students could work more hours. When I am at home, I work for a temp agency in various positions, typically reception and accounting. My ideal job would be a forensic accountant, but with my various areas of study and current job experience, I am sure I can be happy in quite a few positions.
My family lives in St. Charles and consists of my two younger sisters, my younger brother, my mom, and my dad. I live with them for about 5 months out of the year, and I enjoy every minute of it. While I am away at school, I share an apartment with my boyfriend (who luckily is from my hometown too). It's pretty nice, but I get home sick real easy. I cannot wait until I am back at home for good!
I have three pets: 2 puppies and a rabbit. I had a turtle at school, but it died this past winter. The first one I am sad to say died last April. I was very upset, but apparently the people we got him from took him out of the wild so we don't know if that had anything to do with it. I had him four years and tried to take good care of him, but my dorm situation made temperature control hard and he got sick. My rabbit lives at home, she is our second rabbit and we have had her for 2 years and love her. Our old rabbit lived with us for 6 years and died of old age. It was a very sad day, but a few years later we are ready to get back on the horse, as it were, with this adorable baby. My mom got an apple head chihuahua, who is a super daddy's girl and very spoiled. She is 1 year old and only 3lbs! Her bark is definitely worse than her bite, but don't tell her that ^_~. Our second dog is a mini pincher who is 6 months old, and super playful. She's technically my brother's, but has become more of a family pet. My brother also had a hedgehog, who was very funny. He recently died of old age. There is a good chance you may here about these guys ^_^
I have a few annoying medical conditions that I try to keep from hindering me, but occasionally I cannot beat them. Specifically, I have TMJ (a dislocated jaw from grinding my teeth), severe migraines, a finicky stomach, and some residual heat stroke problems making me sensitive to temperature. Not that you all care about this, but it may come up and I figure it's better to understand hindrances in project progress, etc.
